The Xilisoft suite consists of two software packages, the Xilisoft DVD to Zune Converter and the Xilisoft Zune Video Converter. With this combined package, you can convert both DVD to MP4 and MP3 formats as well as convert AVI, MPEG, WMV, MOV, RM, RMVB, DivX, VOB, etc., to Zune video and Zune audio.

This is a good, solid package. It is similar to the Cucusoft package. When you download and install it, it places three different shortcuts on your desktop, one for the DVD Converter, one for the Video Converter, and one for the "Wizard" that ties the two together.

This is also a quite powerful package that rips DVD and converts it to MP4 and MP3 formats, and also can convert all popular video and audio formats to Zune video and audio. It converts in one step, making it a relatively fast system as well. You also get very good quality video and audio with this package.

This package is quite easy to install and operate. In fact, you can start converting right after download without having to read any instructions. Just follow your instincts and click. You can, however, control and tweak various aspects of the process.

The package's main feature of interest is that you can choose any starting and ending point at will, which means you can convert segments if you wish, rather than the whole DVD or video. The package also normalizes sound levels, allows for compression, and supports preview.

The Help section is good, and, of course, there is always help available by e-mail.

Conclusion

This is a nice, easy to operate package. If you like to convert your DVDs and videos with minimum effort yet with the option to control and tweak some aspects, this package may well be for you. To download, click here.
